Next steps

During the initial phase in 2010, ERICO is engaging in discussions with major potential supporters including the regional governments responsible for cross-border cooperation, the Finnish national government, the governments of St. Petersburg and the Russian Federation, EU institutions as well with other interested EU member states. Furthermore, ERICO will team up with business organizations and build strategic alliances, establishing a partner network.

From 2010 onwards, ERICO is planning two major annual events for political-level decision-makers and for innovation and modernization experts in Lappeenranta and St. Petersburg.
