Commercialization of Russian Innovations

Lappeenranta Innovation Ltd is running a new project called "Finnish-Russian Innovation Cooperation - Commercialization of Russian Innovations."

The project receives funding from the Finnish Foreign Ministry neighborhood cooperation resources.

The project aims to create an identification – and commercialization mechanism for Russian innovations. The goal for the project is to support Russian organizations and companies, wishing to bring their innovative ideas to European markets and at the same time create new business opportunities for Finnish companies by exploiting Russian innovations. The partnership is created to offer full scale support to Russian innovators on the way from idea development to its commercial implementation.

The project is implemented in close cooperation with FinNode Russia and key project partners in Finland are the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, VTT – Technical Research Centre of Finland, Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation and Lappeenranta City Holding. On the Russian side the project partner is St. Petersburg City Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade.
