VIP-Vyborg Industrial ParkVyborg Industrial Park (VIP) project was started in 2008 with the municipalities of Lappeenranta, Imatra, Vyborg and Vyborg Region with the funding of the European Union’s Tacis programme. The main aim of the project is to produce studies and plans for the establishment of an industrial park in Vyborg (VIP – Vyborg Industrial Park). The project will include a market analysis, a business plan and a marketing strategy for the industrial park. Also, the subcontracting requirements, land development and construction of the infrastructure will be clarified. The model for the continual development of the Industrial Park will outlay all the financing options and trigger external investors to the Vyborg area. The Industrial Park will provide favorable conditions for entrepreneurship in the area of Vyborg and will also improve subcontracting cooperation between Finnish, Russians and international companies. The Industrial Park will provide premises, land for rent, accounting services, business information, legal advice, recruiting and maintenance services. The Vyborg Industrial Park will be an innovative confluence of Finnish and Russian know-how. Finally, the Vyborg Industrial Park will offer a brand new safe, attractive and competitive business environment serving as an umbrella organization with high-level business services for companies. The clients of the Park will have a flexibility on how to fit the concept of the VIP depending into their business requirements.
